The ADHD Foundation of Trinidad & Tobago was created to provide a safe space for people with ADHD and those who are affected by it. We are about building a community where our members feel safe and proud to express ourselves, and where our abilities and achievements will be recognized and appreciated.
We aim to network with other organizations and support groups towards the shared vision of helping persons with ADHD and them to enjoy a quality of life that is possible to achieve while living with ADHD.
We believe that a culture of sharing and working together will reduce the social stigmas and negative attitudes associated with ADHD, and will empower individuals to celebrate their differences and achieve a sense of belonging in the general community.
We believe that we are a unique and diverse group of people who have unique and diverse needs. We intend to provide the support and services required to help our children and young adults with ADHD. Helping them learn to reach their full potential through education, sensitization and activities for themselves, their families and their educators. The goal is to provide knowledge, tools and support to create a better quality life for individuals with ADHD, their family and the society.
